Full Stack Product Engineer

Product team​

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Full Stack Engineer to join the EBM product development team, helping to advance and improve our industry leading chatbot management platform.

Our platform employs NLP and Machine Learning, using the latest technologies, to empower enterprise teams to create, manage and scale engaging chatbot and Conversational AI solutions.

Location: UK based, working from home and our Southampton or London offices.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain REST APIs for our backend services (in collaboration with the wider EBM product team)
    • Implement new features
    • Diagnose and fix bugs
    • Write unit tests
  • Build and maintain the frontend for our EBM platform written in React JS (with Redux)
    • Implement new features
    • Diagnose and fix bugs
    • Write unit tests
  • Contribute to the design of new features
  • Participate in our agile development process
    • Daily standup
    • Sprint planning and retrospectives
    • Ticket management with JIRA

Skills

  • Practical experience using JavaScript / Node.js
  • Practical experience using relational databases (we use MySQL and Postgres)
  • Experience with Front End development and web technologies
  • Experience building web applications with React
  • Understanding of state-container architecture (Redux)
  • Practical experience using source control (we use git and GitLab)
  • Understanding of application and database performance
  • Familiarity with secure development practices
  • Familiarity with data privacy concerns
  • Attention to detail in building quality user interfaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
